These beautiful limited edition dinner plates feature a portrayal of a nuclear submarine in the Thames River (foreground) and the old New London Subase diving tower (in background). Each plate has been painted by hand by an artist at the Manufaktura factory in Poland; each plate is unique. This is a first quality Polish pottery dinner plate (10 inches in diameter) painted by hand at the Manufaktura Factory. Like all Polish pottery it is lead free, microwave and oven safe and durable enough for everyday use. These plates are also very collectible. There are holes in the back of the plate for picture wire and it can be hung on the wall if desired. This factory has also designed collectible plates for: Fort Campbell, Fort Leavenworth, Fort Hood, and others.
